Terms of service
EDE Ventures, LLC d/b/a Trupe · Effective October 20, 2026
These terms govern use of the Trupe website and service by brands and their authorized users (“you”). A signed order form or agreement with EDE Ventures, LLC controls where it conflicts with these terms.
1. The service
Trupe supports brand profiles, synthetic creator personas, content calendars, scripts, AI-generated video, customer review, scheduled publishing, and performance reporting. The current workflow uses accounts that you own or are authorized to manage.
Features and publishing availability depend on your program and configured providers. Generated videos carry an AI-generated content label. Your team reviews commercial disclosures and other publishing choices before authorizing publication.
2. Your responsibilities
- Provide truthful, supported product claims and hold the rights and permissions required for all material you supply, including music, images, voices, and likenesses.
- Review AI-generated content for accuracy, suitability, rights, and applicable advertising and platform requirements. Automated checks do not replace your review.
- Do not use Trupe for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or abusive content, or to violate the connected platform’s rules.
- Protect your login and authorize only appropriate people to manage accounts or approve content. You are responsible for your authorized users’ actions.
3. Approval and publishing
Script approval authorizes production, not publication. A person with approval permission must review finished media and the account, caption, schedule, visibility, interactions, and disclosures, then give explicit consent for the batch to publish.
An authorized user can cancel posts that have not started publishing. A provider may complete an already accepted post. Disconnecting an account or removing stored media cannot recall a publication already accepted by the platform.
Removing media from Trupe blocks subsequent previews and queues storage deletion. It does not delete an existing TikTok post. The account owner is responsible for managing published posts; contact support for content concerns.
4. Fees and payment
Your agreed store terms set any monthly base, included views, fee for additional views, recurring cap, and setup fee. The setup fee is separate from the recurring cap. No public price is an offer unless included in your agreement.
Invoices belong to your Trupe billing organization. Available payment providers collect those invoices; they do not define your organization or change the agreed invoice amount. Payment collection, including Stripe Checkout, is available only when configured.
View-based invoice evidence uses provider-reported counts. Posts are grouped by the UTC month when Trupe confirms publication. The count is the latest recorded lifetime count at invoice preparation, not only views earned during that month. Finalized invoices preserve the reviewed counts and terms.
Payment timing and any cancellation or refund arrangements follow your agreement. Trupe does not guarantee reach, views, engagement, sales, or any particular commercial result.
5. Content and ownership
You retain rights in materials and accounts you provide, and grant Trupe permission to process those materials to perform the service. You receive a worldwide, perpetual license to use campaign videos and images Trupe creates for you, subject to your agreement, applicable third-party rights, and platform rules.
Trupe retains its rights in its software and generated creator personas, including their names, likenesses, and voices, except as otherwise agreed. Persona exclusivity requires a separate agreement. Connecting your own social account does not transfer its ownership to Trupe.
AI-generated material may resemble other material, and intellectual property protection can vary. Your agreement and any underlying material licenses govern the permitted uses of campaign content.
6. Platforms and availability
Trupe depends on external generation, hosting, publishing, and payment services. Their rules, access, and availability may change. Trupe may pause or adjust delivery to address provider restrictions or content concerns.
A platform controls publication acceptance, visibility, account restrictions, and metric availability. Trupe’s support for a platform does not mean that platform endorses Trupe or has approved every workflow.
7. Confidentiality and privacy
Each party will protect the other’s non-public information with reasonable care and use it for the engagement. Our privacy policy describes information handling, service providers, and privacy requests.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trupe disclaims implied warranties, and neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Trupe’s total liability is limited to fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
You will indemnify Trupe against third-party claims arising from your product, claims documentation, or materials you provide, subject to applicable law and your signed agreement.
9. Term and termination
Engagement duration, renewal, and cancellation follow your agreement. Either party may terminate for an uncured material breach on 15 days’ notice. Fees already accrued remain due.
On termination, Trupe stops new publishing for the engagement. Already accepted publications may complete, and existing posts remain under the account owner’s control. Data retention and deletion follow the privacy policy and applicable obligations.
10. General and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which EDE Ventures, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless your signed agreement provides otherwise. These terms may be updated by posting a new version with a new effective date.
Neither party may assign the agreement without consent except to a successor of its business. These terms and your signed agreement form the agreement on their subject.
